Espresso Napoletano

We roast one thing and one thing only: full-bodied Italian-style espresso. Dark, low-acid, built for crema — hand-profiled in small batches, never mass-roasted.

Our Story

Napoli in every cup.

Fragon exists for one reason: most "espresso roast" bags on the shelf are drip roasts with a different label. We only roast for the portafilter, batch by batch, on our own drum roaster — never for filter coffee, never in bulk.

Each profile is hand-built and hand-timed: preheat, drying, Maillard, first crack, development — tracked minute by minute until the cup matches what a Neapolitan espresso bar would pour. No shortcuts, no light roasts pretending to be something they're not.

Every bag is roasted in small batches of under a kilo and packed within days of roasting, so what lands on your counter still smells like the roaster.

Tasting Notes

What to expect in the cup.

Espresso Napoletano is built for intensity — pulled as a shot or stretched into a moka pot, it holds its body either way.

Aroma

Bold and roasted, with dark chocolate and toasted hazelnut up front.

Body

Thick and syrupy, built for espresso — holds up through milk in a cappuccino.

Finish

A long, low-bitterness finish with a caramelized sweetness that lingers.
